KENTA To Team With Naomichi Marufuji, Challenge For GHC Tag Team Titles On January 1

Reunited.

Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that KENTA and Naomi Marufuji will reunite on January 1 to challenge Satoshi Kojima & Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Titles.

This will mark the first time KENTA & Marufuji will team since 2014. The duo are former GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.

This will mark KENTA's first NOAH bout since NOAH The New Year 2022.

He did compete for NOAH in 2018 when he returned to the company as Hideo Itami to face Marufuji at Marufuji's 20th Anniversary event. He is currently signed to NJPW.

The January 1 NOAH event will also mark the return of Shinsuke Nakamura as he faces Great Muta.
