KENTA wins gold.
KENTA won the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship at NJPW Battle in the Valley, besting Fred Rosser.
Rosser looked like he was about to retain the championship, even forcing KENTA to tap out with the STF, but the referee was knocked out. Juice Robinson came out to the ring and knocked out Rosser with a roll of quarters. KENTA added insult to injury by hitting the Go 2 Sleep for the victory and the title.
