Kevin Owens Says Bootleg Bloodline Is Terrible, Randy Orton Calls Him A Friend

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are friends now.

Orton and Owens have been fighting The Bloodline together in recent months. Orton had been sidelined since WWE King and Queen of the Ring, but he made the save for Owens when The Bloodline attacked him after he lost to Solo Sikoa on the June 14 episode of WWE SmackDown.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Kevin Owens, alongside Randy Orton, discussed the veteran's return.

Kevin Owens: It was a moral victory. Are we friends? Would you say that’s an accurate statement?

Randy Orton: I think we’re getting there. We got a little ways to go. Listen, out of nowhere is kind of my thing, so I figured tonight, we’re in Scotland, I love Scotland. Hell, Drew’s from Scotland, I love Drew, what can I say? I just figured I’d come all the way over here and I would help my friend, acquaintance, buddy, whatever you want to call it.

After some banter about how Orton flew out to Scotland to help Owens, Orton admitted that Owens was his friend. Owens then stated that the Bootline Bloodline was terrible, and both men made it clear that they wanted payback.

RO: I want to correct my earlier statement. We are friends. I’m trying to play it cool. What can I say? But yeah, we’re friends. I haven’t had many friends around here.

KO: You know what? Bootleg Bloodline is terrible. We agree on that, too.

RO: You had that match won, man. Paul Heyman put Solo’s foot…

KO: I can’t believe Paul Heyman had the physical strength to lift a man’s leg high enough to put it on the rope.

RO: I didn’t think it was feasible, but it happened.

KO: We got some payback. I think we get more payback every chance we get. What do you think?

RO: I wish it was a PLE called Payback because we would mainline that son of a bitch.

Interviewer Cathy Kelley noted that there was a PLE called Clash at the Castle, and Owens teased that they could clash.

KO: We could clash still. Anyway, we’ll think about it.

Owens and Orton then shook hands, and Orton said they would find somewhere to party.
