The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Maria Kanellis) has made its AEW debut.
In the main event of the October 14 episode of AEW Rampage, ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) battled the Gates of Agony (Kaun and Toa Liona) and Brian Cage of The Embassy in a trios match. The two teams threw everything they had at each other, and in the end, Spears clinched the win.
After the match, Taven, Bennett, and Kanellis appeared and confronted FTR to close the show. Kanellis introduced herself as the First Lady of Professional Wrestling. She said FTR may call themselves top guys, but they have never faced Taven and Bennett. She stated that the duo wants the ROH and IWGP Tag Team Titles. Kanellis then introduced Bennett and Taven as the real top guys.

The Kingdom and The Embassy proceeded to join forces to beat up FTR and Spears. The Pinnacle trio was outnumbered, but WardJoe (Wardlow and Samoa Joe) made the save. The two powerhouses, alongside FTR, have been feuding with The Embassy in recent weeks.

Taven, Bennett, and Kanellis recently wrapped up with IMPACT Wrestling; they arrived in the company in January and formed the Hard To Kill group with PCO and Vincent. Bennett and Taven won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship during their time with the company.
Previously, the duo was featured in ROH, where they won the ROH World Tag Team Championship twice. They are also former IWGP Tag Team Champions.
