The IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team title tournament's first round ends next week.
Among the matches announced for the December 8 episode of IMPACT, Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary vs. Deonna Purrazzo & Kimber Lee is set to close out the first round. The winning team becomes the fourth and final team to advance to the semifinals.
Below are the matches announced for the December 8 episode of IMPACT:
* IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Title Tournament First-Round Match: Taya Valkyrie & Rosemary vs. Deonna Purrazzo & Kimber Lee: The winning team will take on the team of Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz at a later date in the semifinals.
* Cody Deaner vs. Eric Young: Young attacked The Deaners and Johnny Swinger in the middle of their match and Cody cut a backstage promo on Young.
* Brian Myers vs. TJP: Myers had been taunting TJP for weeks on IMPACT. After Crazzy Steve failed to win the X-Division title earlier in the show, Myers continued to talk down to both Steve and TJP, saying TJP is next on his list.
* Josh Alexander vs. Chris Sabin
