Don Callis gets Konosuke Takeshita on Kenny Omega's side.
For months, Callis has recruited Takeshita to join him alongside Kenny Omega, but Takeshita has been hesitant to fully commit. On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, Takeshita saved Kenny Omega from getting his eye gouged out by Bryan Danielson and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks called out Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli, wanting to settle things in the ring. Danielson appeared on the screen to run down the amateur Elite, allowing the rest of the BCC to attack.
After a ringside brawl that the BCC got the better of, Danielson made his way down to the ring, saying Omega was wasting his professional potential and he was going to deal with him by gouging his eye.
Before he could do to Omega what he did to Hangman Page, Callis came out with Takeshita, who cleared the ring of the BCC and stood in front of Danielson to protect Omega.
