Full card for 2/28 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular Set.

CMLL announced the full card for the 2/28/2025 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular, which will streamed from the mythical Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. The show will be headlined by AEW International Champion & NEVER Openweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita making his CMLL debut, and his opponent has now been revealed.

In his CMLL debut, it was announced that Takeshita would defend the NEVER Openweight Title against one-half of the CMLL World Tag Team Champions, Ángel De Oro. This is not Ángel's first try for singles gold, as he is a former CMLL World Light Heavyweight & CMLL World Middleweight Champion. Ángel De Oro has been holding the CMLL World Tag Titles alongside his brother Niebla Roja for over 1128 as part of "Los Hermanos Chávez".

Also announced at the show were the Finals of the 2025 Torneo de Escuelas. Rocky Romero was also announced to return to CMLL to team alongside the winner of the 2025 Copa Herederos Hijo de Villano III & Difunto against the team of Capitán Suicida, Blue Panther & Flip Gordon, and much more.
