Konosuke Takeshita loves wrestling.
Konosuke Takeshita captured the AEW International Championship at AEW WrestleDream, defeating Will Ospreay and Ricochet in a three-way match.
At the AEW WrestleDream press conference, Takeshita was asked if he always knew he wanted to be a wrestler and who he looked up to.
"I want to say. Wrestling is the best sport. Wresling is the best all time best. I wanted to wrestle. I wanted to become a pro wrestler," he said with a smile.
Takeshita began his career in 2012.
The AEW International Title is the first title Takeshita has won in AEW.
