Kota Ibushi gives an update on Kenny Omega.
Kota Ibushi appeared on Yuji Nagata's YouTube channel and was asked about Kenny Omega, who was recently training in Japan with Ibushi.
Ibushi said "it's going to take about two to three more months" before Kenny returns. Ibushi noted that Kenny wasn't sure he would be able to return and that he still has trouble with certain things.
Omega has been sidelined since December with diverticulitis. He was on the May 1st episode of AEW Dynamite where he was attacked by Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).
It is unknown when Omega will return to TV or the ring.
Ibushi hasn't wrestled on AEW TV since the November 15, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite.
