Kota Ibushi suffers an injury.
Sports Hochi reports Kota Ibushi was taken to the hospital after he wrestled Naomichi Marufuji at Pro Wrestling NOAH on January 2. Ibushi came into the match with an injured ankle and tried to work through it for 35 minutes. The report says Ibushi injured both ankles in the match.
He couldn't stand after the bout, falling over as Marufuji raised his arm. Ibushi made it to the backstage area and was eventually transported to the hospital in an ambulance.
NOAH’s Director, Narihiro Takeda, said no further information will be known until Ibushi receives a diagnosis at the hospital.
