KSI: We Had A Few Ideas For Me At WWE Money In The Bank, We Decided It Wasn't Going To Work

KSI says there were talks about him getting involved at WWE Money in the Bank, but they didn't pan out.

KSI, Paul's PRIME business partner, made his WWE debut at WrestleMania 39. Paul faced Seth Rollins at the show, and a PRIME mascot accompanied him to the ring. KSI turned out to be the one in the costume, and he got involved in the bout. Paul then accidentally hit KSI with a frog splash through the broadcast table. KSI later attended WWE Money in the Bank and gave Paul a bottle of PRIME during the Men's Money in the Bank match.

Speaking on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, KSI was asked whether he saw Paul's match against Ricochet at WWE SummerSlam. He made it clear that he was impressed by Paul's performance.

"Yes, I did [see Logan Paul’s match.] He’s insane. I was talking to him. I was like, ‘Bro, that DDT, you back-flipping onto him and then DDTing him was insane.’ The whole match was top-tier. Literally one of the best matches I’ve ever watched, and I’ve seen a lot of WWE. He’s just insane. He’s sick, man. He’s very, very dope," KSI said.

Helwani stated that he thought KSI would interfere when Paul competed in the Men's Money in the Bank match at WWE Money in the Bank. He then asked KSI whether there were talks about him coming back as a character.

“We had a few ideas, but we decided it wasn’t gonna work. So we just left it, and I just decided to watch since I was in England. Yeah, it was sick," KSI said.

Looking back on the Money in the Bank match, KSI noted that the crowd was remarkable. Specifically, he brought up the way fans booked Paul, even when he did something cool.He then stated that Paul fits wrestling very well.

“The crowd was crazy. There were times where Logan would do something cool, and then the audience would chant, ‘You still suck. You still suck.’ Even after he did something super dope. They were just calling him a wanker, all in unison. ‘Wanker, wanker.’ Yeah, he just fits wrestling so well," KSI said.

KSI also pointed out that few, if any, other YouTubers could do what Paul has done in WWE so seamlessly. He noted that Paul puts his body on the line every time he competes, and it's not easy. KSI stated that he respects it, even if he would never do it himself.

"I’m just like, what other YouTuber could do that so seamlessly? He puts his body through hell. It’s not easy. But I respect it. I would never do it myself, no chance, but I fully respect it," KSI said.

Paul will return to the boxing ring on October 14, and KSI will fight on the card. More information is available here.

KSI previously stated that he won't be joining WWE. Check out his comments here.
