Kyle O'Reilly was left thinking about protons and quasars after his match with Will Ospreay on the June 1 episode of AEW Saturday Collision.
Kyle O'Reilly challenged for the AEW International Championship on June 1 and although he came up short, he left the match with a greater deal of respect for Ospreay.
Speaking after the match in a digital exclusive, O'Reilly quipped that just one night in the ring with Will and you'll be questioning the fabric of reality, no matter how good of a wrestler you think you are.
"I've always considered myself a really good professional wrestler. I'm technically proficient. I hit hard. I can grapple. I can strike. I can kind of do it all, but all it takes is one night in that ring with Will Ospreay that makes you question the fabric of reality, man. Like, protons and quasars and lightspeed. I mean, Will, you are everything that everybody says about you. You are that guy. I've wrestled some of the best in the world. Will Ospreay, man, you were something special," said Kyle. "The rumors are true. I just have to say, it was an honor, man, because tonight, I lost but I learned, and because of that match tonight, I'm a better professional wrestler now. So, until next time, Will, keep that title shiny for me because I know you'll have like eight or nine of them until said and done. Maybe one day, we will tangle again. Until then, Will, it was an honor. Thank you."
