Kyle O'Reilly is not impressed with the way Sting handled himself on AEW Rampage.
In the main event of AEW Rampage on June 17, Darby Allin defeated Bobby Fish. After the bell, Fish attacked Darby, and his reDRagon teammate Kyle O'Reilly began making his way to the ring with a chair to assist. Just then, however, the lights went out and Sting made his return from injury, coming to the aid of Darby.
The Icon had been out of action since before Double or Nothing when O'Reilly pinned Sting's leg in a chair and stomped on it. Sting returned the favor last night, hitting O'Reilly in the groin a couple of times with his baseball bat.
O'Reilly took to Twitter the following day (June 18) and called Sting's actions shameful. He says that he was just trying to offer his elder a seat, but instead was assaulted and has nothing but "swollen testes" to show for it.
Shameful and disgusting act by the man called Sting. Here I am; a fan about to offer him a seat (he isn’t a spring chicken let’s face it and he twisted his ankle I think) and what do I get to show for it? Swollen testes. Absolutely uncalled for. https://t.co/u5Q7Ipixei
