LA Knight has gotten himself into a jam. He now has to defend his WWE United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes and Andrade at WWE Crown Jewel.
The seventh match between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes in the series didn't provide a conclusive rivalry winner. The match ended in a no-contest when the special referee, LA Knight, decided to attack both men after he was on the receiving end of some accidental hits from each competitor. Then, he declared himself still the United States Champion before walking away.
Nick Aldis was not going to let that abuse of power stand. In the next segment, he quickly declared that he would defend his championship against Hayes and Andrade.
