LA Knight represents Old Glory once again.
In a chaotic main event on the March 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to win back the WWE United States Championship. With Charles Robinson down and blinded by Nakamura's mist, there was no referee watching when Knight dropped Nakamura with a BFT on a steel chair. Referee Dan Engler ran down to make the three count, and Knight was reunited with his WWE United States Championship belt.
LA Knight previously held the title for 118 days before losing it to Nakamura at WWE Survivor Series 2024. Nakamura would go on to hold it for 98 days, only defending the title twice, and both times, it was against LA Knight.
