Lance Anoa'i sends a warning to Drew McIntyre and The Bloodline's enemies.
Lance Anoa'i has yet to join The Bloodline on WWE programming, but he is a member of the family in real life; his uncle is Afa Anoaʻi Jr. The family continues to dominate WWE, as The Rock has aligned with Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Cody Rhodes is their main focus, but Seth Rollins, and by extension Drew McIntyre, have crossed paths with them as well.
In an interview with Steve Fall for WrestlingNewsCo, Anoa'i was asked about his recent tweet, in which he shared a clip of Roman Reigns saving him from Drew McIntyre on Raw in 2019 and wrote that he kept messing with the wrong family.
"Man, you know, just letting him know, man, he’s messing with the wrong family. He went after me, he went after Jey, he went after Roman. You better watch who you mess with because we got a big family. You just don’t know who’s next," Anoa'i said.
Anoa'i then shared his thoughts on the Bloodline family tree that The Rock unveiled at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference. He highlighted the size of their family and noted that some members were missing from the family tree that was shown. Anoa'i also quipped that The Bloodline would keep growing, and no story would be finished any time soon.
“I didn’t even really know about it. A bunch of people were just tagging me [about it] and all you see is my name all the way at the bottom [laughs], but hey man, that’s okay. I made the list with everybody else. Just to see how big our family is, and not everybody was even in it. There was a few guys missing still. Zilla was missing, Jacob’s younger brother, Journey Fatu, was missing. I guess the family tree is just so big. I don’t know where they got the family tree, if The Rock put it together or Roman put it all together, but the list just goes on, like how big our family is. It just keeps growing. Even if you look at it, we could keep adding to that tree. My kids, Jacob has seven kids. The list is huge. We’re not stopping. We’re reproducing, man [laughs]. The Bloodline can keep going. No story’s gonna end any time soon," Anoa'i said.
Anoa'i also brought up WrestleMania weekend, as he noted that the other members of the family were free, and they would be in town, so you never know what's going to happen.
"Juicy’s also there. Zilla, Jacob, we’ll all be in Philly, so you just never know. We got a bunch of free agents on the board, and come Saturday and Sunday, who knows what’s gonna happen?" Anoa'i said.
In November 2023, Lance Anoa'i said there have not been any discussions about him joining The Bloodline. Check out his comments here.
