A new AAA Cruiserweight Champion is crowned.
On August 17, 2024, AAA hosted Night Three of the 32nd edition of their annual event from the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. As part of the event, Komander made his AAA return to defend his Cruiserweight Title against Matt Riddle & former champion Laredo Kid.
After a fierce highlight reel of a match between the three wrestlers, the match ended with Riddle hitting the BroDerek on Komander to pick up the title win. With this win, Riddle wins his first title with AAA.
Komander held the belt for 329 days, winning it after it was vacated by Rey Fenix. This was Komander's second title reign with AAA, previously holding the AAA Tag Titles alongside Arez. Komander is signed with All Elite Wrestling, previously competing in ROH as part of "Death Before Dishonor" against The Beast Mortos.
