Lio Rush will be in action at GCW Fight Club Weekend.
Rush hasbeen sidelined since he suffered a shoulder injury during a match against Buddy Matthews. PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2022.
In a tweet on September 29, Rush noted that he has been medically cleared. Revolution Pro subsequently announced that Rush will compete in the 2022 British J Cup, joining Connor Mills, Will Kaven, Leon Slater, and Robbie X.
On October 2, GCW announced that Rush will return to the promotion on October 8 and Ocotober 9 for the two-night Fight Club event, which will be held at The Showboat in Atlantic City.
In a tweet, Rush commented on the news and made it clear that there's a lot he wants to say, but he's going to show the fans instead.
These last 9 months have felt like an entire lifetime. There’s so much I want to say right now, but for now let me just show you. #ImBack #LioRush https://t.co/1uNoh9Xl7c

Fight Club Weekend will be headlined by the Title vs. Career Match where Jon Moxley will defend the GCW World Championship against Nick Gage; if Gage loses, he will be forced to retire.
