Lio Rush had a hand in helping WWE 2K22.
WWE Games releases its latest mini Developer's blog, this time focusing on motion capture. In the video, a familiar face dons the motion capture suit.
While he's partially hidden by the suit, Lio Rush confirmed that he did help WWE 2K22 with the motion capture of moves.
The moves in this game is going to be insane --. P.S this was incredibly fun. #WWE2K https://t.co/3TX8tctEkb

Patrick Gilmore, who is a developer on the game, tweeted that over 4,800 new animations have been captured and they have replaced and improved hundreds of animations. He also said, "If you watch carefully, you'll see reference monitors in the background of some shots. Virtually every move is meticulously referenced from real matches. But performers have to account for every outcome, and often improvise whiffs, misses, counters, and other unexpected outcomes."
The tagline for WWE 2K22 is "It Hits Different." Not much is known about the game, but WWE continues to keep fans informed with developer updates. A release date for the game has not been given.
