Speaking with Joey Karni of The Angle Podcast, Lio spoke about his time with AEW, admitting that the character he portrayed on television was not one he would have chosen for himself. Compounding matters was the fact that he was not given many pointers in regards to where to take the character.

During another recent interview, Rush commented that he doesn't believe the door to AEW is closed and that there is no bad blood between him and the promotion. Click here to read more.
