Lola Vice reflects on working with Shawn Michaels in NXT.
Lola Vice is one of the rising stars in WWE NXT and she has already made a name for herself, winning the recent NXT Women's Breakout Tournament.
NXT is run by WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and during a recent interview with Denise Salcedo on the red carpet for the premiere of Hulu's Love & WWE reality series about the lives of Bianca Belair and Montez Ford, Lola spoke glowingly about working with HBK.
"Oh, he's amazing. I learn so much from him. It's just such an honor to be part of a company where my boss is Shawn Michaels, but every week, I just want to make him happy and give my best for his show."
Asked what the best piece of advice she's been given so far is from HBK and the NXT coaching staff, Lola says that they encourage her to be herself.
"The best [advice she's been given] is to be me. I don't have to do more. I don't have to do less. Be me, be who I am truly and that will come out with my character, which is what I do every week."
As a result of winning the NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, Vice has the opportunity to cash in the contract she won for a Women's Championship opportunity at any point in time.
On the January 30 episode of WWE NXT, she will settle a personal score with Elektra Lopez. Check out the full card for that event here.
