On the April 4th episode of WWE SmackDown things became personal between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair as Tiffany referenced Charlotte's three divorces in a promo segment. Charlotte fired back by saying Tiffany's real-life boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser was in her DMs.
Speaking to David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide on the Masked Man Show, Kaiser was asked about his DMs.
"It'd be pretty disappointing," he said with a laugh.
Asked how many DM jokes he's gotten since the segment, Kaiser said, "Just face to face, probably a hundred. Online, I can't even tell you. At the end of the day, it's WrestleMania season. You never know what's going to happen. Stakes are high. Everybody is hot for it. I actually enjoyed everything that happened in the last week. Can't wait to actually see Saturday what's going down. It's going to be awesome."
When it was noted that the segment helped boost interest in the match, Kaiser replied, "100%. It's a very unique situation too because for Tiffany it's her very first title defense at WrestleMania and it's against her dream opponent and the reason she started wrestling. Arguably the best and biggest name in professional wrestling. What a dream matchup."
Charlotte will challenge Tiffany for the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 41.
