Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are happy to see Penta in WWE.
Penta has wrestled around the world, and he has held titles in AEW, TNA, MLW, and AAA, among other companies. made his WWE debut on the January 13th episode of WWE Raw, where he beat Chad Gable. He then defeated Pete Dunne the following week.
Speaking on Talk'n Shop, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows discussed Penta's WWE debut.
Karl Anderson: Penta’s debut, what makes me excited is we’ve wrestled Chad Gable, he’s amazing in the ring, fun to be in there with. We’ve also wrestled Penta, known him for many years.
Luke Gallows: He is phenomenal. Everybody knows that, he’s on a worldwide scale right now. Feeling him in the ring, you’re like, boy, this guy is really f’ing good.
KA: You know what was great about Penta? Penta is not a mark.
LG: [Laughs] He’s not a mark, you’re right.
KA: He’ll do anything you need. He’ll do a little bit of this, he’ll do a little bit of that. He’ll help you here, he’ll help you there. He’ll give you this, there. I just knew that he’s so easy to work with.
Anderson and Gallows went on to note that it was cool to see a superstar who had been around the world get to debut in WWE. Anderson highlighted how they had multiple opportunities to debut and re-debut, and it was a cool feeling.
KA: It’s cool to see a superstar that’s been around the world to get to do his debut in the WWE.
LG: You love seeing him get that love, too. Because that’s a hell of a feeling. It’s cool.
KA: There’s nothing like, no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done or where you go, there’s just nothing like having the opportunity, because we’ve had a couple of opportunities to debut and re-debut to massive reactions, so we’ve gotten to live that, so it was cool to see Penta our buddy get that opportunity.
Gallows and Anderson also spoke highly of Chad Gable and said that he was easy to work with as they noted that he and Penta had a good match.
