Lyra Valkyria would love to see a Women's Intercontinental Championship.

Since the introduction of the NXT Women's North American Championship, fans have been speculating about the possibility of WWE introducing a Women's Intercontinental Championship or United States Championship to the main roster. The rumor has been around for years, with some female performers even speaking out in support of the idea.

While speaking to Ten Count Media for a new interview, Valkyria spoke positively about the idea, stating that it would be an incredible opportunity for women who haven't got the chance to show what they are capable of.

“I think an Intercontinental Title for the women would be incredible, it’s kind of known as that work horse title. We’ve got so many hard working women that are still waiting for a chance to step up and show what they can do and that would provide that opportunity for them. Of course, that would be incredible.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Valkyria commented on Becky Lynch's current absence from WWE. Learn more about those comments here.
