The Mae Young Classic isn't coming back, at least not yet
On Saturday, a page on NXTTickets announced the 2019 edition of the Mae Young Classic will return on November 2 and November 3 in Winter Park, Florida, the site of the majority of the tournament matches for the first two tournaments.

However, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp reached out to WWE, and a rep stated that it was posted in error.
This would have been be the third edition of the Mae Young Classic as the tournament began in 2017. Kairi Sane was the inaugural winner of the tournament when she defeated Shayna Baszler. Toni Storm went on to win the 2018 Mae Young Classic with a win over Io Shirai. Both Sane and Storm went on to win the NXT Women's and NXT UK Women's Championships, respectively after their tournament victories.
Among the women that have competed in the Mae Young Classic are the likes of Rhea Ripley, Tegan Nox, Mia Yim, Rachel Evers, Deonna Purrazzo, Tessa Blanchard, Santana Garrett and more. The majority of the aforementioned women went on to sign with WWE and appear on NXT.
