Mariah May is going to the finals.
On the July 5 episode of AEW Rampage, Mariah May faced former AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida in a semi-final match in the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament. Reigning AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm accompanied May to the ring, and she got in Shida's face during the match.
May and Shida battled it out in a hard-fought match. Shida countered a hip attack, while May kicked out of a Falcon Arrow. In the end, May countered a Katana into a pin for the win. She then celebrated with Storm after the match.

With the win, Mariah May advanced to the finals of the tournament; she will face Willow Nightingale on the July 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. The winner of the match will earn a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW All In.
May previously beat Saraya in the quarterfinals, while Shida defeated Deonna Purrazzo.
