Mariah May Is Looking To Create A Star To Kill A Star, ‘I Haven’t Stepped In The Ring With Mercedes Mone’

Mariah May is focused on looking for her next big rival.

Mariah May has had a breakout year in 2024. She won the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament, and she beat Toni Storm to win the AEW Women's World Championship at AEW All In. May continues to reign supreme heading into the last two months of 2024, and she aims to make more moments in the coming year.

Speaking on The Figure 4 Podcast, Mariah May was asked to comment on her goals for 2025.

"I’m still going to be the Women’s World Champion. I’m all about moments and looking for that next big rival and creating a star just to kill a star. That’s really my focus for next year. I haven’t had to challenge for the TBS Championship. I haven’t stepped in the ring with Mercedes, or she’s never stepped to me. That’s something I’m looking at," May said.
