The Women's Internet Champion has been crowned.
In recent weeks, Internet Champion Matt Cardona has posted multiple videos on his Twitter account. In one, Cardona brought back the Zack Ryder character for a new episode of Z! True Long Island Story, and Persia Pirotta (Steph De Lander) stole the Internet Championship. The next video featured The RyderTaker playing mind games with De Lander.
In a tweet on June 2, Cardona tweeted that the RyderTaker video has over a million views. He then announced that he was crowning De Lander the Women's Internet Champion.

Cardona and De Lander have been paired up together in recent months, as she has been his heater on the independent scene. They have both competed for GCW and AIW, among other promotions. Most recently, the duo lost to Joey Janela and Sawyer Wreck at GCW Lifestyle on May 26.
