Matt Cardona Has Special 'Jurassic Park' Entrance, Loses In-Ring Return At GCW Homecoming Night Two

Matt Cardona is back in action.

Matt Cardona had been out of action with a torn pec since April, but he returned to the ring at GCW Homecoming Night Two. Cardona had a special entrance video ahead of his match, as he paid tribute to “Jurassic Park”. He then entered to music from “Jurassic Park”, and he was riding in a Jeep.

Matt Cardona and Broski Jimmy, accompanied by Steph De Lander, faced Matt Hardy faced Matt Hardy and Joey Janela, who replaced Hardy’s advertised partner, Nick Gage.

Early on, Hardy and Janela double-teamed Jimmy. De Lander later distracted Janela, and Cardona gained the upper hand. The two teams kept battling back and forth. Hardy rallied and fired up with a flurry of offense on Cardona. Hardy kept rolling, and he dropped Cardona with a Side Effect. De Lander interfered again, and Cardona and Jimmy took control. Hardy persevered and slammed Jimmy onto a ladder. Janela then kicked a ladder into Jimmy’s face. Janela hit a Swanton Bomb, but De Lander broke up the pin. Megan Bayne came out to even the odds, but Cardona threw a chair at her.

Janela dove into Cardona at ringside. Jimmy hit Janela below the belt, but Janela dodged the Radio Silence. Hardy and Janela hit Cardona and Jimmy with ladders. Janela and Hardy then hit diving leg drops through tables on both Cardona and Jimmy. Cardona and Jimmy rallied as they sent their opponents through doors with stereo Spears.

In the end, Cardona accidentally hit Jimmy with light tubes. Janela sent Jimmy through some tables with a Destroyer, and Hardy hit Cardona with some light tubes. Hardy then clinched the win with the Twist of Fate.
