The 2024 Fightful Awards were full of surprises and shock winners. Well, aside from one category.
For the third straight year, the 'Indie Act Of The Year' award went to Matt Cardona, as fans chose him over stars like Mustafa Ali, Mance Warner, Sareee, Michael Oku.
Cardona spent in an acceptance speech, bragging about his win and claiming that he's going to win the award next year as well.
"This is 'The Complete' Matt Cardona, and I'm coming to you live, via satellite, from the beautiful La Quinta Hotel, and I'm here to accept my award, third year in a row, Indie Act of the Year, duh. I mean, who else was going to win? I am the 'Indy God.' I am the 'Deathmatch King.' I am the Internet Champion. I am 'The Complete.' Next year, I guess I'm gonna be a four-time Fightful Indie Act of the Year winner. Now, where is my payday for this? PayPal me, Friends and Family, [email protected]"
