The Internet Champ is (still) here!
Zack Ryder had a decade-plus run in WWE. After being let go on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020, Matt Cardona said goodbye to “Long Island Iced Z” and is now ready to carve a new path with an updated signature item.
In a new video released on social media, Matt Cardona left his WWE past behind him and unveiled the new Internet Championship which was custom made by Wildcat Belts for his new journey as “Alwayz Ready” Matt Cardona.
In addition to the new video, which you can see above, Matt Cardona had a new theme song made by Downstait, which is available now on all streaming platforms.
Download my new entrance theme, “WHEN THE LIGHTS GO DOWN” by @DownstaitBand right now! (on iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, etc.) I can’t thank these guys enough! They absolutely nailed it! I can’t wait until I walk to the ring with this song playing! pic.twitter.com/CR2jNsE6x7

Cardona is one of the many names released on April 15 to begin a new journey today as the WWE’s 90-day no-compete clause is officially expired.
EC3, No Way Jose, and Heath Slater have also begun their next chapters. However, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson may have made the most noise in their tell-all podcast which dropped at midnight. Learn more here.
