Matt Hardy, Ed Nordholm Reconcile After Trademark Battle

Bridges can always be mended in pro wrestling, and this is the latest example.

Matt Hardy posted this early this morning, indicating that everything is fine between he and his former employers at Anthem:

WWE SmackDown (11/22/2024) Results: Kevin Owens & Cody Rhodes Face-to-Face, Women's US Title Tourney

There had been a bitter battle between Hardy and Anthem after Anthem started to argue with Hardy that the Broken character and related characters were their IP, despite the argument that Hardy came up with the ideas behind his character and others. The two parties continued to negotiate for months over some sort of deal, but never came to fruition until a couple of months ago where Anthem relented. Since then, Anthem has taken the stance that people would be allowed to use their trademark names however they'd like, framing it was the new way to handle business in 2018.

Matt Hardy has now adopted his gimmick he made famous in Impact Wrestling, and is currently embroiled in a feud with Bray Wyatt.
