The Colons (Eddie Colon & Orlando Colon) made their TNA debut on the February 20th episode of TNA iMPACT!
One week later, they put their trust in The System.
The Colons are former WWE Tag Team Champions who have been active on the independent scene since their WWE departure in WWE.
Speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt commented on The Colons joining TNA.
“They are two great pro wrestlers and I love those guys, especially Primo. I interact with him a lot, I’ve got one of our inside jokes is whenever he’d be wearing his glasses I’d say, ‘Brother, you look like a booker, what is the finish.’ We have a constant ongoing joke about that. I said, ‘I can’t listen to your finish if you don’t have your glasses on.’ So, I’m excited to have those guys there. I think it’s a good addition, it puts some [Puerto Ricans] on the roster, I love that, I can talk to them about Mofongo and some of my favorite Puerto Rican delicacies. They’re going to be there, they’re very seasoned, they’re guys that have been around and they can get the job done.” They get the whole character aspect plus they’re very good in the ring," said Matt.
Matt will face The Colons at TNA Sacrifice as he teams with Joe Hendry & Elijah to face The System (JDC, Brian Myers, & Eddie Edwards) & The Colons (Eddie Colon & Orlando Colon).
