Matt Hardy: The Hardys Wrestling In ROH Could Be A Possibility, Facing The Lucha Bros Would Be Fun

Matt Hardy says coming The Hardy Boys coming to Ring of Honor could be a possibility.

The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) are one of the most decorated tag teams of all time, and they have won titles in many major promotions. Among many other championships, the duo held the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship during their run with the company. Both Matt and Jeff are now in AEW, and AEW CEO Tony Khan also owns ROH. As a result, many fans have wondered whether the brothers could compete in ROH at some point.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the AEW star was asked about potentially going to Ring of Honor with Jeff Hardy in the future. He noted that it was a possibility and expressed his interest in potentially facing ROH World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo).

"I think that's a possibility. I think you could see that happening. I heard at one point, you know, maybe some buzz about having actual blood brothers all locked up in a match. It's interesting because there are several sets of blood brothers in aw there's us, The Gunns. There's The [Young] Bucks and then there's Penta & Fenix. So who knows? We'll see what ends up happening, but yeah, I think another match with Penta & Fenix, we have wrestled them before, but I think that would be fun to do a little program with those guys," Hardy said.
