Matt Hardy: It Wouldn't Surprise Me If Samoa Joe Won The AEW World Title At AEW Worlds End

Matt Hardy wouldn't be surprised if Samoa Joe won the AEW World Championship at Worlds End.

At the Worlds End pay-per-view on Saturday, December 30, MJF will defend his AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe in what will likely be the headlining bout of the event. Many fans are anticipating this match, as the first bout between Joe and MJF back at Dynamite Grand Slam was highly praised.

On the latest episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy explained that he could see the match going both ways before noting that it wouldn't surprise him if Joe walked away with the title.

“I could see it happening, but I could also not see it happening. For some reason, I feel like we have an MJF/Swerve meeting for the title on the horizon, in the future. That's what my gut tells me, but I don’t know. It would not surprise me if Samoa Joe did win, but nobody’s really sure about the legitimacy of MJF’s health or where he’s at. It's gonna be interesting.”
