Matt Hardy comments on the vibes in AEW.
It's been a busy couple of weeks for AEW as the company held its biggest show ever, AEW All In, in front of over 81,000 fans at Wembley Stadium, and then travel back to the United States for three shows in Chicago, including AEW All Out.
In the middle of all this, CM Punk was released by the company.
Matt Hardy, who was at Wednesday's AEW Dynamite but not used on television was asked about the vibes in the AEW locker room coming out of a busy week.
"Very positive. [Wednesday] was extremely positive. I was at All Out because there were talks of us possibly having a match, possibly doing a couple of things. It ended up we weren't needed for it so we were able to get home on Sunday night. I watched the majority of the show, and I was so proud of everyone on the roster. They killed it. They busted their ass and went out there and worked so hard and were so entertaining. It was such a good show, even though it was put together in the last week, but it was still a killer show. What a fantastic pro wrestling show. The vibe was great there that day. The vibe at Dynamite and Rampage was great as well. AEW is very healthy and in a positive place," he said on his Xtreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.
Jeff Hardy will be in action on Friday's AEW Rampage, taking on Samoa Joe in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.
The Hardys competed in the ROH World Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Battle Royal on the September 1 episode of AEW Rampage.
