The Young Bucks have teased Kenny Omega's return. Specifically, Matt Jackson hinted at his arrival on the newest episode of Being The Elite.
Omega has been sidelined since last November; he last wrestled at AEW Full Gear 2021, where he dropped the AEW World Championship to Hangman Page. Since then, he has been recovering from several injuries. He had knee surgery and hernia surgery, among other procedures.
Fightful Select recently reported that Omega is expected to return soon, based on what staff and talent have been told.
AEW is kicking off the tournament for the AEW World Trios Championship on AEW Dynamite this week, and The Young Bucks will team up with a mystery partner to face RUSH, Dragon Lee, and Andrade El Idolo in a first-round bout. Last week, they asked Hangman Page to join forces with them, and he turned them down.
On Monday's episode of BTE, Matt Jackson dropped multiple teases about Omega. First, he was wearing a Backstreet Boys t-shirt, a reference to a memorable picture that shows Omega and the Bucks attending a Backstreet Boys concert.

Most notably, at the end of the show, Matt gets a call, and he asks the person on the other end, "Are you sure? You're sure you're ready?" This line seemingly hinted that Omega was the person who called Matt, but that's far from a certainty.
