This match features a fascinating clash of fighting styles. Matt Riddle, a hybrid wrestler, seamlessly transitions between technical wrestling, MMA, and virtually every fighting style, making him a versatile and unpredictable opponent. In contrast, Matthew Justice is a daredevil brawler, known for his rampaging, caution-to-the-wind approach and an extraordinary threshold for pain.
Now guiding Justice's career in MLW is Bill Alfonso, the "manager of champions." Alfonso, with his keen strategic mind, brokered this high-profile match, understanding that a victory over the #1 ranked Matt Riddle would catapult Justice to the top of the MLW rankings.
Since his return to MLW earlier this year, Matt Riddle has been undefeated, embarking on a quest to capture the MLW World Heavyweight Championship—a title that eluded him during his last stint with MLW in 2018. Riddle’s determination and focus have been evident, particularly after winning the Battle RIOT in June, securing his golden ticket to a title fight at a time and place of his choosing.
Matthew Justice, known for his high tolerance for pain and daredevil antics, is more than ready to face Riddle. Some say Justice even thrives on the feeling of pain, making him a formidable and unpredictable opponent. With Alfonso in his corner, Justice is poised to make a significant impact and prove himself against one of MLW’s best.
This bout will see two of MLW's most popular wrestlers face off in what promises to be an epic showdown in the Big Apple. The stakes are high, with both competitors looking to solidify their positions in the MLW hierarchy and edge closer to championship glory. Will the King of Bros prevail, or will Justice’s wild brawling and resilience lead him to victory?
