Last night's Casino Battle Royale saw the debut of Matt Sydal as the Joker in the battle royal and he definitely made a shockingly masterful debut.
Sydal went for his shooting star press and, such is live pay-per-view, slipped and fell immediately.
Here's the botch from Sydal, good to see he's ok.

Not the best way to start your debut in AEW. #AEWAllOut pic.twitter.com/VzToECq2G9
Sydal took to Twitter on Sunday morning to say thanks to those that reached out to him and said that this moment gave him the clarity to know that he needs to begin trying new material.
Slipping was BONKERS! That was a first and hopefully a last. Thank you all for kind the messages and check in’s. I’m beyond honored to be a part of @AEWrestling’s All Out.

I think that was a sign. I’ll be using all new material next time. Stay tuned in to see what I’m saying. ------
