The Young Bucks, Matthew Jackson, and Nicholas Jackson speak about Kazuchika Okada's addition to the AEW roster and what they believe he will do for the promotion in the future.
Since his arrival in AEW, Okada has been paired with the Young Bucks. He is currently the AEW Continental Champion and has yet to be defeated in the promotion. However, Matt Jackson feels like it's only a matter of time before Okada is carrying the AEW World Championship.
When that moment comes, Jackson believes that Okada will take the title to new heights, as he told Justin Barrasso of Undisputed.
“I feel like Okada is definitely a future world champion and it would elevate the title to new heights,” said Jackson. “Nobody does big matches better than him. Nobody has more aura than him. If I need someone out there who has to follow a four-hour show, I’m sending Okada out there every time.”
Nicholas Jackson also chimed in and praised Okada's aura and his ability to always be at ease in high-pressure situations.
“There was one time we saw Okada yawn before a big match at the [Tokyo] Dome,” said Nicholas Jackson. “He’s the best, and he doesn’t get nervous for anything. It’s been so much fun working with him these last several months. There’s no one better.”
Elsewhere in this interview, Nick Jackson spoke about missing the competition between NXT and AEW every Wednesday. Read his comments here.
