A new actress has joined the cast of 'The Iron Claw'.
According to a new report from Deadline, Maura Tierney is joining the cast of A24's new Von Erich family movie titled 'The Iron Claw'. The report states that Tierney will take on the role of Doris Von Erich, who is considered the matriarch of the family. Tierney is most known for her roles in TV shows such as 'The Affair', 'American Rust', and 'ER'. Tierney also had a role in the Jim Carrey led movie 'Liar Liar' in 1997.
Tierney joins an already loaded cast of Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, Jeremy Allen White, & Holt McCallany. The film, which is backed by both A24 and Access Industries, is currently filming. A release date has yet to be announced. The project is set to be directed and written by Sean Durkin.
