Max Dupri has walked away from the Maximum Male Models, seemingly for good this time.
Dupri debuted on WWE SmackDown in May, and he eventually revealed ma.çé and mån.sôör as his two clients in the Maximum Male Models. The group was later joined by Max's sister, Maxxine Dupri. In recent weeks, Max has been teasing a change to his character, as he has been increasingly frustrated with the models' string of losses. He walked away from the group after their loss to the New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) on the Septemver 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, but things came to a head the following week.
On Friday night, Max broke up the models' pose after they spent the duration of the show trying to set a new record. He noted that they became clowns when they should have been worried about winning titles. Max said "this" wasn't for him anymore, and he wasn't sure whether it ever was. He then said "yeah" as he walked away, which was a clear nod to his previous character, LA Knight.
