WWE is shaking up the commentary teams.
Variety reports that Michael Cole and Wade Barrett will move to WWE Raw as the new commentary team. Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves will move to WWE SmackDown, but Cole will also remain on WWE SmackDown.
The changes go into effect on August 7.
The report states, "According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, WWE remains high on Patrick and think that pairing him with Cole will only benefit his growth as a broadcaster. Cole has been with WWE for more than 25 years."
Barrett began calling the action on WWE SmackDown alongside Cole in October 2022, replacing Pat McAfee. Barrett previously served as the commentator on NXT. Patrick & Graves also started as a duo on WWE Raw in October 2022.
