The Last Rodeo has a happy conclusion for Mickie James.

One way or another, Mickie James was going to make history at IMPACT Hard to Kill 2023. She would once again become IMPACT Knockouts Champion or retire from active competition.

As it turns out, fate was on her side this Friday, the 13th, as she again captured the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship by defeating Jordynne Grace.

Mickie James escaped the Grace Driver by holding on with everything she had to the top turnbuckle and then sidestepped Grace, sending her flying into the ring post, allowing Mickie a Tornado MickDT for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Jame celebrated her victory with Tara (Victoria in WWE) and her family, including her and Nick Aldis' son, Donovan.

With this victory, Mickie James can turn her attention to the new number one contender, Masha Slamovich. James was recently quoted saying she was hoping to face Masha one day. fans can read her comments here.
