Mike and Maria Kanellis aren't going anywhere for a while.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reported Saturday afternoon that 205 Live's duo of Mike and Maria have signed multi-year extensions with WWE. Fightful was able to confirm that news, as well as that the deals are five years each in length.
The contract locks up Mike and Maria until they're 39 and 42 years old, respectively, going through the spring of 2024. There had been questions in recent months of their contract status', with Maria Kanellis publicly announcing their deals were reaching an end a few weeks back. In addition, there were rumors that the two wanted out of WWE late last year.
Mike most recently competed in the WWE Super Showdown battle royal, but has been a fixture on the 205 Live brand since last October. His last match on the show, a May 28 appearance, saw him defeat former WWE Cruiserweight Champion The Brian Kendrick.
Maria is known to get in the ring from time to time herself. She's competed in three battle royal matches, making appearances at WWE Evolution, Royal Rumble, as well as WrestleMania 35.
Fightful will update you on more news on the situation as it arrives.
