May was able to attack Nightingale from behind as the music of Mina Shirakawa played in the arena. Moments later, Shirakawa came out and reluctantly celebrated with her on stage.

Yuka Sakazaki attempted to keep the brawl going with May, but the AEW Women's World Champion retreated from the area as Shirakawa continued to look confused.

Shirakawa last wrestled in AEW on the August 30 edition of AEW Rampage, defeating Missa Kate in singles action.
