"I think there are still many more. But I hope in the near future I can fight Chris Jericho," Suzuki told Wrestling With Honor when asked if there was an opponent he would like to face.

Suzuki teamed with Jericho and Sammy Guevara at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door to defeat Eddie Kingston, Shota Umino & Wheeler Yuta. Jericho previously said that he would like to face Suzuki in Japan.

Elsewhere during the interview, Suzuki was asked if he still had the goal of being IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.

"Of course, I'm still aiming for IWGP. That is one of the reasons why I continue to fight in New Japan Pro-Wrestling," he said.

The IWGP World Heavyweight Title is currently held by Kazuchika Okada.

Suzuki is one-third of the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champions with El Desperado & Ren Narita.
