Miro: Konnan Wouldn't Last 10 Seconds With Konosuke Takeshita

Miro has thoughts on Konnan's comments regarding Konosuke Takeshita.

Konnan has been a frequent topic in the world of wrestling lately. On a recent episode of his Keeping It 100 podcast, Konnan expressed frustration with Konosuke Takeshita after he paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero with his signature frog splash on the February 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, which took place in El Paso, Texas.

"Well, Takeshita, he’s got heat with me. He’s lucky I wasn’t in El Paso, because when he went up and he did the fuc*ing Eddie Guerrero thing for the frog splash...you’re not Mexican dude. I don’t care. Stick to your nationality.”

Fellow AEW star Miro recently took to Twitter to defend Takeshita, saying that Konnan wouldn't last ten seconds with 'The Japanese Phenomenon'.

Tributes to Eddie Guerrero are common across the entire sport of professional wrestling.

Miro last wrestled for AEW at the All Out pay-per-view in 2022. At that event, Miro teamed with Darby Allin and Sting to defeat the House Of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, & Buddy Matthews).

Konosuke Takeshita is set to take on the Iron Savages' Bronson on Tuesday's episode of AEW Dark. To see the full eleven match lineup for AEW Dark, click here.
