CMLL stars Mistico and Atlantis Jr. defeated Volador Jr and Templario in a showcase match at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado, on October 22. The match was held before the game began.

Mistico, formerly known as Caristico, also apparently stayed around for the Denver Broncos game, where the home team beat the Green Bay Packers by a final score of 19-17.
