Mistico captured the 2024 Opera Cup at MLW Fightland.
Mistico defeated KENTA in the finals of the Opera Cup to win the tournament in the main event of MLW Fightland.
The finish saw Mistico submit KENTA with La Mistica.

This is the first time Mistico has won the Opera Cup. He is also the reigning MLW World Middleweight Champion.
Earlier in the night, KENTA defeated TJP to advance to the finals. KENTA won with a low blow followed by the Go 2 Sleep. Mistico defeated Bad Dude Tito in his semifinal match, winning with a crucifix pin.
Mistico defeated Magnus and Atlantis Jr in the first two rounds of the tournament.
